The City of Yakima announced intersection work at Nob Hill Boulevard and 18th Street beginning Nov. 9. Crews will replace ADA ramps, curbs and gutters and install accessible crossing push buttons and pavement markings. Completion is scheduled for mid-December.
Drivers should expect alternating single-lane closures and other nearby traffic and parking disruptions. The city urges motorists to slow down through the work zone. Access to homes and businesses will be maintained where possible, and emergency vehicles will be allowed through when necessary. Weather, equipment problems or emergencies could change the schedule.
