The City of Yakima announced that City Hall, Y-PAC, Parks and Recreation offices, Municipal Court and police and fire business offices will close Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2026, for Veterans Day. Emergency services will remain available.

Yakima Transit fixed-route buses, Dial-A-Ride and the Yakima-Ellensburg Commuter will not operate Wednesday. Garbage collection will follow its regular schedule.

The announcement separately lists the Harman Center’s holiday closure as Monday, rather than Wednesday. The city also directs residents to its online services, many of which are available around the clock.
